Regional Science Fair
Thompson Rivers University plays host to the Cariboo Mainline Regional Science Fair in the spring of each year — the next event is scheduled for April 9-11, 2018 in the TRU gymnasium. The top science projects from elementary and high schools from around the region are submitted for judging. Students can receive awards ranging from books, medals, trophies and monetary or a combination of the same. Several of these projects are selected to compete at the Canada Wide Science Fair.
TRU provides the overall Top Senior Science Project, an award of first-semester tuition at TRU.
For information on how to register please contact Krista Halland, the committee chairperson at khalland@sd73.bc.ca.
If you wish to volunteer as a Tour Guide, Judge or assist in science tour activities, please contact Verlinda Wale, TRU representative at vwale@tru.ca.
