First Year / New Students
Registration for ARET students opens around mid June. You will be notified of the exact date by email through myTRU. Instructions on when and how to register for courses using the web registration can be found at TRU Registration. We recommend viewing the online registration tutorial before starting.
In the tables below are the courses that all first year students must register in. Note that some courses will have a lecture, seminar and lab component or some combination of the three components.
All students will register in the Lecture component 01. Then students will select labs and seminars for section -L01/-S02 or labs and seminars for section -L02/-S02, but all courses with seminars or labs must be the same section/number. For example, if you select lab 02 for ARET 1120, then the lab section for ARET 1100 must be 02 as well. (Note: CRN = Course Registration Number.)
