Indigenous Pathways for Health Careers
Indigenous students are offered individual assessment that identifies their needs and strengths and they complete courses that encourage strong foundations for success.
Our program includes:
- Individual academic planning
- On campus courses
- Weekly group meetings
- Tutor and peer support
- Elder guidance
Once students are finished the program, they can apply to enter a health career degree or diploma program such as:
To enter the program:
- You can enter the program in September and January
- You should have completed at least Grade 10 math and Grade 10 English.
- If it has been more than two years since you attended high school, you will need to take the Accuplacer test to help with your course planning.
