Gregory J. Gehlen

Greg holds B.A. (1978) and LL.B. (1983) degrees from the University of British Columbia and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1984. He established Gehlen Dabbs in 1998, where his practice focuses on insolvency matters, including bankruptcy, security realization, and business restructuring, and other commercial disputes. He is Chair of the Insolvency Discussion Group of Vancouver, a forum for lawyers and licensed insolvency trustees, and is a member of most professional organizations relating to insolvency such as the Canadian Insolvency Foundation and the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Practitioners.
He has written and lectured primarily on insolvency issues for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia as well as for other professional groups such as accountants, architects and doctors, and for 18 years contributed the chapter on bankruptcy and insolvency for CLEBC’s Annual Review of Law & Practice.
