Request Server/Device Backup

If you have a special need for backup of data, contact the IT Service Desk with the following information:

  • Reason for the backup request.

  • What type of data requires backup?

  • Where is the data located and how is it stored?  If it is stored on a server or other device, the name of the device and, if possible, its IP address.

  • Does a periodic backup need to be made and, if so, how frequently?   How long does the data need to be retained?

 A Network and Technical Services technician will contact you within one week of your request to discuss your request in more detail.
