Batch File Creation
Create a batch file for your desktop
This is an easy way to have your network drives mapped when connected through Remote Desktop.
Note: This only works on Windows.
1) Login to Remote Access
2) Use Notepad application to create a batch file. (replace wcole with your login name)
net use h: \\tru_vfiler1.tru.univ\home\wcole * /user:wcole
net use o: \\TRU-UNIV-DC1.tru.univ\Shared * /user:wcole
Name the file drivemap.bat and save on your desktop.
3) Double click on "drivemap.bat" on my desktop
4) Enter your network password - twice - once for each drive mapping.
5) Use H: and O: drive.
