Access Request Form
This page has been moved to our new Knowledge Base. Information about Access Request Form can be found here.
Applications and Systems Access Request (ASAR) form is a paperless form for all access requests and account provisioning. A TRU employee can fill out a request for themselves or on behalf of contractors, non-employees or work study students. Approval is then required by a manager, supervisor or designate to grant access to specific applications and/or systems required to carry out the work.
Responsible use policy
It is important that the employee or non-employee signs/acknowledges they have read and understand the Responsible Use of IT Facilities and Services Policy provided by the hiring Supervisor, Manager, or Dean.
The document, applications available through ASAR, provides information that will assist you in completing the ASAR form. Also included are other applications available that are not listed on the form.
A TRU employee must complete the ASAR for a contractor or other non-employee.
- Login to OneTRU using your network credentials
- Refer to the ASAR Quick Guide for assistance.
- Upon submission, the approver will receive an email containing a hyperlink and instructions.
Work study or teaching assistants
Currently work study network access is only provided if there is an end date on the form. The network account will be cancelled at the end of the term. Supervisors can request other access such as O:\drive, Banner, etc. on the ASAR.
Once the form is submitted to the Supervisor for approval, he/she will review the requested Application/System accounts and acknowledge that these are part of the job requirements and will ensure that the Responsible Use of IT Facilities and Services Policy has been/will be read and understood by the applicant.
