Enterprise Systems

The Enterprise Systems group ensures that a stable, extensible core business systems infrastructure exists for TRU.

Our team coordinates software development, maintenance and acquisition to enhance and extend business systems for students, faculty and staff. We are responsible for the integration of core student and business systems at TRU and maintaining a high performance enterprise data architecture to support the information needs of all TRU stakeholders. The ES Team administers core systems including student, finance, human resources, fulfilment, eServices, portals and TRU's public website.

Although the Enterprise Systems Team is relatively new to TRU, a similar team existed at the former BCOU. The formation of the ES Team grew out of the need to provide centralized support for TRU business processes including web applications, the TRU website and to facilitate the BCOU transition to TRU. The TRU Team formed in Kamloops in August 2004 and has since grown to 10 staff.
