Endowed Coachship
Investment - $100k
Timeline: Ongoing
Description - Competition is fierce to attract and retain coaches who can develop individual athletes and programs to their fullest potential. To gain a competitive edge, the endowment of a head coaching position plays a major role. The endowment of a head coaching position, or "coachship," at TRU is the highest honor our athletic department can bestow upon a coach. The ability to offer ongoing, sustainable funding for these positions plays a significant role in the department's ability to recruit and retain the top coaches in the province. The income from “coachship” funds helps defray the salary and other related expenses of the head coach for a particular sport. Donors can designate funds to their sport of choice, from among TRU’s athletic programs.
