2021 Foundation Gala Entertainment

Rich Woods

Rich is the co-host of B100’s Good Morning Kamloops with Cheryl Blackwell, and part-time watch model (judging by his bio picture). Rich is a born-and-raised Kamloopsian, who is old enough to remember when the Northills Mall was a drive-in theatre.

He has been happily married to his wife, Carmelina, for over 17 years and has two beautiful children: Lukas (14) and Peyton (12). In the summer you can find Rich on the golf course. In the winter you can find him huddled at home, holding his clubs tight, and praying for the golf season to arrive.

Rich is proud member of the Kamloops community, and thrilled to be a part of the 2021 TRU Foundation Gala – A Community Affair

Slow No Tempo

A cappella quartet. Vocal Group. Vocal Band. Whichever name you prefer, Slow No Tempo is four guys making music with just their voices, based in Kamloops, British Columbia.

The group formed in the fall of 2018 and they sing a wide variety of music; from rock to sea shanties to jazz to barbershop and everything in between, all with their beautiful blend of voices and unique humour.

Slow No Tempo has wowed audiences at everything from gala events to the Farmer's Market, and every year they choose a local charity for their Singing Valentine fundraiser. This will be Slow No Tempo’s third TRU Foundation Gala. Fun fact: the 2019 gala was their first public performance.
