TRU LEADership Cohort

2018 LEADership Banner

The 2020 TRU LEADership Conference was re-imagined into a LEADership Cohort. The purpose of the LEADership Cohort was to encourage aspiring and active student leaders to explore their knowledge, skills and values as they relate to leadership. Students had the opportunity to network with other students and hear from Kamloops and TRU community members as they offer unique perspectives on leadership.

Planning for the 2021 TRU LEADership Conference/Cohort will begin in June 2021. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram, @TRUStudentLife, to stay up to date on the latest information next year’s programming. We hope to see you then!

The TRU Steps Towards Success series is an opportunity for undergraduate students to connect with peers, learn how to access resources on campus, and engage in skill-building interactive sessions. This series will cultivate a sense of belonging, boost student well-being, and empower students to take ownership over their own success.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted us all in different ways. Many students have expressed challenges and frustration with learning in a digital environment coupled with other life stressors. This year’s Steps Towards Success will empower students to take control over their study habits, wellbeing, and connection in the virtual classroom allowing them to be strong and resilient learners amidst a global pandemic.

Join us for a three-part series in the Winter semester to sharpen your academic and life skills. With sessions being offered synchronously and asynchronously, there is something that can fit your schedule!
