To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure a safe environment for individuals in our university community, we are requiring all students, faculty and staff to declare their vaccination status. Proof of vaccination is not required to complete the process, only your TRU login information.
If you submitted your self-declaration in the fall 2021 semester, you do not need to redeclare. However, if your status has changed, please update your vaccination status using the link below.
Please answer honestly as the gathering of this information will help TRU understand the overall safety of our campus community as it relates to mitigating the risk of COVID-19.
You will be asked “What is your current COVID-19 vaccination status?” and given four options:
- I am fully vaccinated (two doses or single Janssen/J&J dose)
- I am partially vaccinated
- I am not vaccinated
- I prefer not to answer
You must choose one of four options and submit one answer to declare your vaccination status. If you do not, access to some online services on myTRU.tru.ca or TRUemployee.tru.ca will be limited until you provide an answer.
Our Open Learning community has been included because, as members of our TRU community, we care about their health and safety and encourage them to be vaccinated no matter where they call home. While online services on myTRU.tru.ca or TRUemployee.tru.ca for our OL community will not be limited for those who do not complete the declaration, we will send reminders about the value of vaccinations and where to get tested to all those who don’t declare as fully vaccinated.
