Credits: 3 credits
This course provides the mathematical foundation for an introductory calculus course. Topics include equations and
inequalities; functions, models, and graphs; polynomial and rational functions; exponential and logarithmic
functions; trigonometric functions, identities and equations.
Prerequisite: Pre-calculus 12 with a minimum grade of 60% (C) or MATH 0630 with a minimum grade of C or MATH 0633 with a minimum grade of C or MATH 0600 with a minimum grade of B or equivalent.
Note: Students can get credit for only one of the following MATH 1000 or MATH 1001.
