Topics include licensing and regulation of health care professionals (including medical malpractice claims as a form of regulation); regulation of biomedical research; approval processes for drugs, complementary therapies, and medical devices; resource allocation and access to health care; market considerations; privatization and deregulation of health care; and consent and confidentiality.
