Your transcript lists your program of study, all courses attempted and the grades obtained. Before ordering a transcript, please ensure that your final letter grade, and credential if applicable, is visible in your myTRU portal under Academic Record..
Only final grades that are visible in myTRU will appear on your official transcript. Courses you have not completed will be displayed as In Progress..
If you have completed your credential, be sure to confirm in the View Academic Transcript screen that your credential is listed. If there is an error, contact the Registrar's Office.
How to order a transcript
Order through your myTRU portal. Your transcript will normally be mailed out the next business day.
- Log in to myTRU
If you do not have a myTRU log in, contact email@example.com or 1-800-663-9711.
- Click on the Student Resources tab and go down to My Academic Record. Choose Order Printed Transcript and follow the instructions to submit your request. Credit card payment is required to complete the order.
If you have special instructions, email them immediately to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Special Instructions’ in the subject line. Include your name and TRU-ID number. Transcripts cannot be ordered through email.
Delivery method: Specify at the time of ordering whether you would like the transcript mailed out or held for pickup in person. The in person pickup location is the Registrar's Office and the transcript can be picked up after noon on the following business day.
Note: Transcripts will be held in the Registrar’s Office for up to 30 days after ordering.
ID is required required for anyone picking up a transcript. If someone other than you is picking up your transcript, send an email immediately to email@example.com with ‘Pickup’ in the subject line.
Your transcript will be mailed to you within five business days from the date your request is received.

Can my official transcript be faxed?
Official transcripts can be faxed. Faxed transcripts are not considered official and must be followed up by an official copy sent in the mail by TRU. The transcript request fee applies.
Can my official transcript be emailed?
Official transcripts cannot be emailed.
How can I get an unofficial copy of my transcript?
You can print an unofficial copy of your transcript from your myTRU account.
