Visual and Performing Arts Resources
Awards and Scholarships:
Helen Pitt Fund for Fine Arts Graduating Year Award - Visual Arts students in their graduating year at SFU, UBC, ECIAD, UVic, UBC Okanagan and Thompson Rivers University will be eligible for awards based on merit as determined by the Department in each of the institutions with preference given to students from Vernon. For these purposes, Visual Arts will include painting, which was Mrs. Pitt’s particular stipulation, as well as sculpture, printmaking, drawing and photography.
Mitchel Zawaduk Memorial Scholarship - to be awarded annually to a first or second year fine art student in the Diploma program.
Visual Arts Faculty Scholarship - to be awarded annually to a second year fine art student in the Diploma program.
The River Acting Endowment Award - Senior student recognized for continuing contributions to the theatre program at TRU.
TRU Actors Workshop Theatre Award - Junior student recognized for outstanding performance and commitment to theatre program at TRU.
