Message from the Chair
Welcome to the exciting and ever-shifting world of communication studies!
Our program emphasizes both the theoretical and applied aspects of this interdisciplinary field with streams in both Public Relations and New Media Studies. The Public Relations stream is designed to train communication professionals and ready them for the workplace. The New Media studies stream emphasizes the interface between how people communicate and the technologies they use to do so.
Both these streams prepare students for exciting careers and post-graduate academic opportunities along with plentiful internship and co-op placements. We also offer exciting study-abroad opportunities with our communication partners around the world!
