Costs Prior to Program

$28.12 - Applying to HCA program (students new to TRU only)
$35 - Assessment test (if required)
$189 (+ $40 for course materials) - Standard First Aid with CPR (C) Certificate
$115 (approximate) - Food Safe
$50 - $60 - Immunizations, completed by a Health Care Provider using the TRU School of Nursing Immunization Record form
$30 Criminal record check - one or two month prior to entering program
$20 (approximate) FIT testing for respiratory masks

$40 Navy blue scrubs (pants and top)
$45 - School supplies - binders, paper, pens, ruler, hi-liter, 3-4 duo-tangs, disposable gloves, hand sanitizer
$25 - Book bag, knap sack - something to carry manuals/books
$80 - Closed-toed walking shoes for practicum
