BC Water & Waste Association (BCWWA) is the recognized authority for the voluntary certification of backflow assembly testers and site inspectors in British Columbia and Yukon.
Students and or professionals from a diverse field of activity are encouraged to take the CCC Tester Certification Course. Typically, individuals with a background in health, plumbing, engineering, law, consulting, water utilities, irrigation, building and parks maintenance, etc. take this course and become BCWWA-certified CCC testers.
As a BCWWA-Accredited Training Institution - Thompson Rivers University, School of Trades & Technology, offers the following Cross Connection Control courses:
XGAS 0640 Cross Connection Control Tester Certification Course
$795 (includes text and TRU exam fees)
This five-day course teaches the principles and theory of backflow prevention and cross connection control (CCC) as well as the practical testing procedures of backflow prevention assemblies. At the conclusion of the course, students will have the opportunity to write the BCWWA CCC Certification Exam* consisting of both a written and practical component.

October 6, 2017 8:00 am - 2:30 pm:
Active testers that are not taking an upgrading course are required to confirm eligibility by contacting the BCWWA CCC Exam Registration to register and pay for the exam.
