All mechanics involved in auto and commercial vehicle inspections must have successfully completed a training program and the provincial exam. Prerequisite: TQ or an I/P in Automotive, Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport.
Commercial Transport Mechanic “Red-Seal” Exam Preparation Course (XMEC 0490)
Continuous Entry $795 (test and texts extra)
This distance course is designed to assist commercial transport mechanics wanting to challenge the “Red Sea:” exam. In order to attempt the exam, written proof of 8910 hours of direct work experience in the trade is required. Heavy Equipment Operator Challenge Exam Preparation Courses (XMEC 0730)
November 16 – December 8 Fri 6:30 – 9:30 pm, Sat 8:00 am – 3:30 pm $545 (test and texts extra)
This classroom course is designed to assist heavy equipment operators wanting to challenge the Industry Training Authority HEO exam.
