Domestic/Residential Certified Geothermal Technician

TRU - School of Trades & Technology will be offering for its first time the Domestic /Residential Certified Geothermal Technician course. 

***please note this program is in the development process and training dates are to be announced.

This technician performs construction related tasks in the residential market dealing with the design,installation and servicing of ground source or geothermal heating and air conditioning systems.  In a growing industry and "green" legislation, the demand is increasing for trained technicians in geothermal technology.

Program Pre-requisites:

English 11 and Mathematics 11; or equivalent proficiency tests


Training Dates:

Costs:

Domestic/Residential Certified Geothermal Technician apprentices must purchase the required textbooks and provincial competency manuals.  Students are also required to pay tuition fees while attending TRU.  Please refer to the Apprenticeship Training page for tuition details.

Apprentices will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
