The Program Structure
NOTE: The three major streams have different lower and upper level requirements. State your Major as soon as possible to ensure that you are taking the lower level courses that best prepare you for one of the following three majors: Management, Adventure Studies or Entrepreneurship.

Students without adventure tourism education and seeking an Adventure Minor must take ADVG 311 and 313 - please contact the BTM advisor.
Students often save electives for future Study Abroad opportunities. |
| Field Work - Students must have a minimum of 500 hours of documented relevant work experience supported by industry references indicating capable performance. Students can complete this requirement on their own or via the CO-OP option. |

| Electives – Unspecified (21 credits) These are a student’s choice from areas such as (not limited to): Tourism Mng’t, Events & Conventions, Resort & Hotel, Adventure Studies, Languages (SPAN 1110 for Chile), Sciences, Arts, Business, etc. Many students use this area to apply activity courses transferred into the BTM from adventure based diploma programs. Students without prior adventure tourism education must take ADVG 3110 and 3130 – please contact BTM advisor. Students often save electives for future Study Abroad opportunities. | |
