The Kamloops Film Festival

A handful of selected event management students joined Billy Collins (School of Tourism faculty member) in organizing and delivering the opening reception and the closing party at the Plaza Heritage Hotel for the Kamloops Film Festival March 4 & 11, 2010. Both events were at full capacity and the closing party was an artistic success, with the highlight being a blistering performance by Old Man's Beard, a reggae-folk band from Revelstoke/Salmon Arm.
