Who We Are
Faculty
The Adventure Studies Department was established in 1992. The Adventure Studies faculty has diverse expertise, is recognized for their world-class teaching and research and is professionally involved and in the Adventure Industry.
Part-Time Instructors
Many adventure industry professionals contribute excellent instruction to our students in the Adventure Studies Department at Thompson Rivers University. Their experience and expertise enhance the skill and career development of our Adventure Studies students. Over the course of the program, students will have an opportunity to experience various teaching and guiding styles facilitated by our part-time instructors.
Alumni
Graduates of the adventure programs at TRU work for many different kinds of adventure companies around the world. The following section connects to a number of businesses that are either owned by graduates of TRU, or are businesses that regularly employ graduates of our training programs. It would be impossible to list all the businesses where graduates have worked, but this list provides a representative sample.
Stories from our graduates can also be found here.
Who We Remember
As the years go by we continue to remember our past graduates and instructors who have passed pursuing what they loved.
