Specialty Guide

The completion of any of the following certifies you as a Specialty Guide with specific terrain limitations.

• Rock Guide Certificate
  Rock Guides specialise in climbing instruction and guiding on technical rock. This includes long, multi-pitch routes; sport-climbs; and top-rope climbs on terrain where no glaciation and no permanent or seasonal snow or ice exists. The Assistant Rock Guide segment of this certification is also part of the Alpine Guide Certification.
• Alpine Guide Certificate
  Alpine Guides specialise in alpine, rock, and waterfall ice climbing terrain .
• Ski Guide Certificate
  Ski Guides specialise in ski touring, ski mountaineering, and helicopter/snowcat ski guiding, including ascents of non-technical peaks as part of a trip.

Completion of both the Alpine Guide and Ski Guide certificates automatically grants you the Mountain Guide Certificate.
