The Mountain Guide Certificate

The Mountain Guide Program consists of three (3) Certification Streams. Completion of both the Alpine Guide and Ski Guide certificates automatically grants you the the Mountain Guide Certificate. The certification provides you with the skills and techniques necessary to carry out any mountain based activity in any terrain.

Mountain Guides hold the highest internationally recognised qualification for instruction and guiding in rock and ice climbing, mountaineering and backcountry skiing and touring - the coveted IFMGA badge. This badge, recognised throughout the mountain world, is a guarantee of professional training and competence in all aspects of mountaineering and client care.
