Note: Many conference events are part of regular conference registration (which also includes coffee/snacks and lunch on Oct. 12-13); however, there are a number of ticketed special events as well.

Thursday, October 11 includes:

• Pre-conference Excursions in Kamloops and the Thompson-Okanagan region in BC (ticketed events)
• Graduate Students Symposium with Penny Ur as the keynote (ticketed event separate from main conference)
• Pre-conference Symposia/Workshops with both morning and afternoon choices (ticketed events)
• President's Welcome Reception (open to all conference delegates)

Friday, October 12 includes:

• Numerous concurrent sessions
• Plenary speaker: Dr. Steven Pinker
• Exhibitor Showcase with dozens of publishers and exhibitors
• Wine & Ale tasting (ticketed event)

Saturday, October 13 includes:

• Numerous concurrent sessions
• Plenary speaker: Dr. Michael McCarthy
• Exhibitor Showcase with dozens of publishers and other exhibitors
• Conference gala dinner & dance (ticketed event)
