Message from the Dean of Students

Welcome to the start of your life as a TRU student! Your first year of study at university is an important time of discovery, and we're here to support you along the way.

We're sure you have all sorts of questions as you get ready to join us in September. The information on this website is a good place to start. Be sure to click around and, if you have questions we haven't anticipated, send us a note so that we can get you what you need.

As you prepare for your first year here at TRU, we encourage you to check out the various ways that you can engage in and out of the classroom. We have faculty and staff that will help you as you explore career options, select courses, succeed in those courses and learn more about how to connect what you're learning outside the classroom. We have recreation and social programming to make sure that you options to get away from your books for a bit and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The TRUSU clubs are an excellent way for you to connect your interests and passions with like-minded students. We are all working together to help you thrive here at TRU.

Tuesday, September 6 is the day that we officially welcome you to TRU, to your academic program and to the community of classmates, faculty and friends that will join you as you Discover TRU. We look forward to meeting you then.
