Jump the Line

Not in the mood for long line-ups associated with the first week back to school? Then take advantage of our Jump the Line event! Services for students will be open longer to help ensure you are able to get everything done before classes start.

Campus Services Open Between:

Sunday, Sept. 4    

10:00 AM- 2:00 PM

Monday Sept. 5th (Labour Day)

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM*

September 6th, 7th, 8th

8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Services that will be open Sunday include:

  • Student Services Reception Area
    • Get your questions answered and meet Orientation leaders
    • Located in Old Main 1631
  • The Welcome Centre
    • Take a tour of the campus
    • Meet in House 9

Services that will be open Monday to Thursday include:

  • Student Services Reception Area 
    • Get your questions answered and meet Orientation leaders
    • Located in Old Main 1631
  • Counselling
    • Explore different career options   
    • Located in Old Main 1631
  • Academic Advising
    Jump the Line
    • Get help choosing classes 
    • Located in Old Main 1100
  • Registrar's Office
    • Register for classes
    • Located at Old Main 1155
  • Campus Cashier
    • Pay your fees and get your student card
    • Located at Old Main 1614
  • The Welcome Centre
    • Take a tour of the campus
    • Meet in House 9
  • TRUSU Office
    • Pick up your U-Pass and familiarize yourself with the Student Union building
    • Located in the Independence Centre (attached to the Campus Activity Centre)
  • IT Services
    • Get your computer questions answered
    • Located on the first floor in the House of Learning
  • House of Learning Reference Desk
    • Get assistance in all aspects of library research and get any questions answered
    • Located in the House of Learning, on the first floor (beside IT Services)
  • Financial Aid & Awards
    • Learn about scholarships, bursaries, loans and budgeting
    • Located in Old Main 1631
  • The TRU Bookstore *
    • Pick up your textbooks and purchase school supplies
    • Located in the Campus Activity Centre, on the first floor
    • Please note this service is only open till 2pm on Labour Day
