Composition and Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Student Engagement Committee:

  • Advise Senate on policies, practices and all matters related to student support and service, including measures to achieve the goals set out in the University Strategic Plan.
  • Advise Senate on measures to foster and ensure the linkage between student support activities, and the academic, budgetary and other priorities of the University.
  • Advise Senate on responsibilities related to academic integrity and appeals as defined in the Thompson Rivers University Act and the University Act.
