SUBMISSION OF A NOTICE OF INTENT

The Academic Planning and Priorities Committee (APPC) of Senate requires that a Notice of Intent be submitted for all new courses and programs.  The Notice of Intent is intended to provide APPC with the opportunity to assess the academic viability of a new course/program and to determine whether it meets the current strategic goals of TRU.

Complete the template and submit it to the APPC secretary by emaill to jmoores@tru.ca or via inter-office mail to office CT300.

Notice of Intent Word Document

Once a Notice of Intent is received it will be added to the agenda for the next APPC meeting.  Once the Notice of Intent is approved by APPC, the secretary will forward confirmation of approval to the Educational Programs Committee (EPC) so that it may commence its substantive review of the course/program.
