Respiratory Therapy Program Information Sessions
Applicants must attend either a Program Information Session or take a Hospital Tour as a requirement of admission to the program; however, it is recommended that the applicant do both. The intent of either of these is provide as much insight into the profession and the program as possible, and answer any outstanding questions the applicant may have about either of these. Verification of attendance of either of these requires a signed verficiation form, which must be sent to TRU Admissions for inclusion in the application file. Verification form available here.
Hospital Tour
Hospital affiliates in the program located in the Vancouver area do not provide hospital tours (Royal Columbian, Vancouver General, St. Paul's, Children's and Women's) without first attending a program information session. Please communicate your interest in a hospital tour with the faculty member in attendance at the orientation session. The applicant may choose to independently contact a hospital in their area of residence to arrange a tour through the Respiratory Therapy department if available.
