Bachelor of Health Science Undergraduate Degrees

Thompson Rivers University Open Learning offers a Bachelor of Health Science degree completion program that is accessible to current TRU Respiratory Therapy diploma program students (dual Diploma/ Degree stream) and graduates of any RT program. This degree is not required as an entry to practice but rather as value added increase in educational breadth.

Admission to the program requires that the student either be currently enrolled in the TRU Respiratory Therapy Diploma program (provisional enrollment) or a graduate of a RT diploma program.

The dual Diploma/ Degree stream allows successful students to graduate with both a 3 year RT diploma and a 4 year Bachelor of Health Science Degree within a four year period. There are a limited number of seats in this face to face stream; there are no limitations to those who chose to do the degree by distance. Admission into the face to face, dual stream is selective. The selection process will be made available to all first year students during the first semester of the program.
