Are you interested in research? The Council for Undergraduate Research is an organization whose mandate is to promote undergraduate research and researchers. Thompson Rivers University has obtained an Enhanced Institutional Membership, which means that every student of TRU may sign up for a FREE membership in the organization.

If you are conducting research on human subjects, some types of personal documents or animals, there is a good chance you will need to follow ethics protocols and apply for ethics approvals. While you are preparing your applications for research funding, be sure to discuss whether your application requires ethics approval and which ethics protocols might apply.
