The School of Rehabilitation Sciences within the Faculty of Medicine at UBC no longer offers the degrees of Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy and Bachelor of Science in physical therapy. Instead, they are offering Master of Occupational Therapy and Master of Physical Therapy degrees.
The UBC MPT program focuses on the knowledge and skills needed to assess and manage a broad range of conditions that affect musculo-skeletal, circulatory, respiratory and nervous systems.
Students wishing to qualify for rehabilitation sciences at UBC are strongly advised to visit the UBC website to verify admission requirements. Students must have a minimum academic standing of B+ calculated on their upper level courses. Advice may also be obtained from the chairperson or a TRU academic advisor.
