Thompson Rivers University has a rich history of being open and accessible to students from around the world, and of extending the expertise of the university to the international community. The university seeks to balance success in the international context by creating expanded international opportunities and experiences for Canadian students, faculty and staff, and by increasing levels of international awareness and understanding within the university community. Draft Academic Plan
After a year of extensive public consultation, Thompson Rivers University has posted the Draft Academic Plan endorsed by the Academic Planning Steering Committee. Academic Plan
Aboriginal Service Plan
TRU’s Aboriginal Service Plan (ASP) is derived from the university’s comprehensive five-year strategic plan. This plan for the period 2007 to 2012 commits the institution to becoming "The University of Choice for Aboriginal Students and First Nations". Aboriginal Service Plan
Campus Master Plan
A long term Campus Development Plan was prepared in January 1991 as a strategic instrument, both to guide the physical expansion of the College Campus and to provide an effective transition for Cariboo College from community college to university college to an independent university.
