Visitors to TRU may park in a student pay parking lot or in metered parking spaces.
Please note: not valid in metered parking lots (Lots K, P, i, and V): Daily parking tickets ($5 tickets purchased from regular, student/staff lot ticket dispensers), e-permits, annual staff permit, reserved student or reserved staff permits, annual staff pass, student or staff carpool permits.
Departments wishing to provide one-day parking to their guests visiting campus can purchase one-day parking permits from the Parking Office for $5 each. These permits are valid for one day only and allow visitors to park in any student parking lot or metered area on campus.
One day parking permits may be issued to groups/individuals such as:
- Advisory committee members
- Potential employers interviewing students
- Government officials
- Other visitors on TRU business
One-day permits are for use by visitors only: students or employees using one day permits will be cited and the offending department's one day permit privileges suspended or cancelled.
Contact the Parking Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 250-828-5368 for more information.
No person shall occupy a parked vehicle on campus overnight, regardless of whether a valid parking permit is displayed. Overnight parking is only allowed in Lot N and Lot M, unless otherwise approved by the Parking Office.
