Note: If your application was submitted by January 15th 2012, you will not be notified until the end of April as to the staus of your application.
Application Procedure
Prospective students must submit a complete application to the program to be received no later than January 15, 2012 for the class of September 2012.
- The application should include evidence of meeting all program prerequisites.
- A selective admission process is used to determine admission to year one of the BSN program.
- During the selective admission process a structured format is followed with all applicants being evaluated against the same criteria.
- Applicants are ranked according to their documents in a number of categories, for example, scholastics, letter of introduction, references, evidence of leadership and volunteering, etc.
Each applicant will be placed into the following categories:
- Accepted
- Wait listed
- Not accepted
Applicants will be notified in writing of their status. Acceptance is conditional based on receipt of final grades.
In order to secure their seat in the program, students will be required to pay a committment fee. Applicants have the right to appeal admission decisions. Appeal procedures are described in the Academic Information section of the calendar.

2. Application for Admission to TRU
form
All components listed in the Admission Information document AND the TRU Application form must be completed and submitted to the Registrar's office by January 15 for September entry of the same year.

Application Information for LPNs
Prospective applicants must complete application to the program. Applications will be accepted all year.
LPNs enter the program in year two (Fall semester) if there is a seat available.
