As I complete my fourth and final year of my degree as a journalism student at Thompson Rivers University (TRU), I have the energy of a fresh graduate, the payscale of someone who will take what they can get, the naivety of an unjaded journalist and the curiosity of a child. These qualities would make a great addition to your team.

This summer, I kept busy working as an editorial intern at Kamloops This Week (KTW) newspaper.  I have continued freelancing for KTW as well as their sister paper the Merritt Herald while finishing my degree.

My passion for people, my experience and my work ethic would make me the most successful candidate.  Before my experience in journalism, I worked for four years at the Royal Bank where I learned exceptional customer service and problem solving in a professional environment.  I have held many serving jobs that taught me to multitask well and excel working in a team environment.
