Welcome:

My name is Allison Gibbard and currently, I work as a freelance journalist. I will be graduating from Thompson Rivers University this April with a Bachelor of Journalism degree.

After considering many different options, I decided that I wanted to be a journalist because reading and writing have always been a passion of mine. Furthermore, I wanted to learn more about the journalism industry and strengthen my writing skills.

I can’t wait to start my career and hope to start at a publication soon after graduation. Although, I have just begun to establish myself as a journalist, I believe I am headed in the right direction.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, golfing, wakeboarding and camping. I also go to the gym regularly and love to watch movies.
