During the past two decades phenomenal changes have taken place in the global marketplace. These changes are a result of advancements in technology, lowering of trade barriers in different countries of the world and the advent of organizations like the World Trade Organization. The European Union has developed into the single largest market in the world while emerging economies like India and China in Asia and Brazil in Latin America, have become very important for the success of many businesses. The global business landscape has become very dynamic and is continuously introducing new challenges to organizations. Today, a digital economy characterizes the world and as such the successful drivers of competitive advantage which held true in the past, seem to be losing their effectiveness or have become ineffective altogether. The new challenges business organizations face require innovative solutions in business management.

We welcome papers that broadly address the conference theme and issues related to emerging paradigms in business management and technology. Academicians and professionals are encouraged to contribute new ideas, concepts and paradigms for discussion. Papers could be based on original empirical research or real life case studies relating to emerging trends. Special consideration will be given to papers that highlight emerging theories, cutting-edge research or best corporate practices and facilitate exchange between scholars and practitioners.

Papers dealing with national- and international-level business strategies and technology management issues in addition to papers which introduce innovative ideas and provide new insights and generate discussions relating to traditional areas of management such as human resources, accounting, finance, information technology, marketing, operations, supply chain and policy issues, are also encouraged.
