Reference Area
The TRU Kamloops Campus Library Reference area is located on the main floor of the Library. This area includes a print reference collection, Information and Assistance Desk, 18 computers which access the TRU library catalogue and article databases, photocopiers, microfiche and microfilm reader/printers.

The TRU Williams Lake Campus Library Reference area is located in the centre of the Library. This area includes a print reference collection, Information and Assistance Desk, 5 computers which access the TRU library catalogue and article databases, photocopiers, microfiche and microfilm reader/printers.
 
Information and Assistance Desk (Reference Desk)

The Librarians and Library Technicians provide assistance with research and locating information. Librarians and Library Technicians help library patrons make the most effective use of the library facilities, services, and collections by:
  • Assisting and facilitating research using the library catalogue, article databases and other specialized research tools.
  • Assisting and facilitating research using both print and electronic sources
  • Answering factual and short informational questions via telephone and e-mail.
