Group Study Rooms
  • There are 3 study rooms that can be booked by TRU students for group study. The rooms are intended for groups and not individuals.
  • These rooms can be booked online (using your Novell username and password), a week in advance, by a group for a maximum period of 2 hours.
  • A maximum of 6 people per study room are allowed with the exception of room 140 which can only accommodate a maximum of 4 people.
  • The group study rooms are not sound-proofed and are intended for quiet group discussion and excessive noise will not be tolerated.
Photocopiers and Microform Reader/Printers
  • There are 4 coin-operated photocopiers and 6 microform reader/printers available on a self-serve basis.
  • The charge for copying on the photocopiers and the microform reader/printers is 10¢/copy.
  • The photocopiers and microform reader/printers will accept all coins, except pennies, up to a $2 coin.
  • The use of transparencies is not permitted with library photocopiers. Students should go to the TRU Student Society office where they sell transparencies for 95¢/sheet and charge 10¢ per copy or to MailBoxes where they sell transparencies for 99¢/sheet and charge 15¢ per copy.
Drop-in Computer Lab (L209)
  • There are 18 computers with full production software installed available on a drop-in basis on the second floor of the library.
  • The computer lab is available during all library opening hours.
  • Printing is available in the lab. Users bring their own paper. At this time, print jobs are released immediately, but a print manager (similar to the rest of the computers labs) will be installed.
