Language, Culture and Community:
Building Collaborative Research Opportunities
July 6-9, 2012
Our second annual July Institute will highlight the scholarly activities of the faculty, students, and international partners associated with the Faculty of Human, Social, and Educational Development at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia.
The Institute will focus on four themes that encompass the work of the Faculty: language, culture, community, and research methodology. These important themes will be featured in a wide range of presentations, research reports, performances, and discussion activities.
Colleagues and students from Thompson Rivers University and other Canadian and international universities will participate as presenters and general registrants.
Institute participants are also invited to the post-Institute activities that will include the formation of research and practitioner teams and the design of ongoing collaborative initiatives. For details, please see the Program link (forthcoming).
