The myTRU Portal Account provides everyone in the TRU Community with one-stop access to on-line services available. You can register for courses, check and print out your schedule, access your financial information, check your final grades, view important campus announcements, send and receive email from your own TRU email account, and much more.
What is my login name and password for myTRU?
Login name: login name or TRU ID
Password: initially, your birthdate in yymmdd format
Example: September 1, 1992 is entered as 920901
myTRU provides a central place to find information and services such as email and calendar. You will find important messages, campus spotlights, and notifications. In addition, you may customize your myTRU environment and maintain your own bookmarks to important sites.
myTRU is accessible from the Internet both at home and in the computer labs on campus using a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari. Students can send and receive attachments up to 2 Megabytes in size and can store up to 50 Megabytes of e-mail on the MyTRU server.
Students should use their myTRU Mail account for campus mail. Your instructor will assume that you are using this address and may send important course information to it. Messages from other TRU departments may also be sent to this address. Important campus-wide messages may be sent such as information on campus closures or alerts about problems with TRU's Internet link, computer labs, power outages, etc.
