Bell Audio Conferencing Solutions

Effective Oct. 1st, 2010 we now have a contract for audio teleconferencing services from Bell. There will be cost savings to TRU, so this will be our primary provider.

Bell Reservationless Conferencing at your fingertips!

This pay-per-use service is the ideal way to conduct a conference call whenever you want - without having to book your call in advance. Just use your dedicated Dial-in numbers, unique Conference ID and private Moderator PIN anytime you want to conduct a call. No reservation is required once the subscription has been set-up. This is ideal for regular, frequent or last-minute meetings and available 24/7. Plus, a selection of Star-Touch features can be activated and de-activated easily using your Touch-Tone phone.

Each Faculty/Department has been assigned with an account moderator – generally this will be your divisional secretary or assistant. They will provide you with the information to provide to your participants.

How to prepare for your Conferencing:

Before the conference call, invite your participants and provide them with:
1- The date and time of the conference call
2- The Dial-in number
3- The Conference ID

At the scheduled time of the conference call, your participants:
1
- Dial the appropriate Dial-in number
2- Enter the Conference ID when prompted by the conferencing system

Mute your line: so other participants cannot hear you.
Unmute your line: so other participants can hear you.

Remind participants not to put call on “hold” as the “hold” music will distract the others.

Moderator information:

To start the conference call, you the moderator:
1
- Dial the appropriate Dial-in number
2- Follow the system prompts to enter your Conference ID and your private Moderator PIN

Continue conference without the Moderator: toggles your conference continuation default setting, allowing the conference to continue, or not, without you
