Registry Cleaner - RegSupreme
For Windows 2000 or Windows XP users.
When you install a program on your computer, part of the installation process is adding links and software to your Registry file.
This file , over time, will grow and grow as you add more software. When you remove (uninstall) software not all registry entries are removed.
After a time your registry needs a good cleaning. This program will detect and remove all old, unused and outdated registry entries.
Click on the link Download RegSupreme, click on open and install the program to your system. Follow the defaults.
1- When it is installed, run the program.
2- Click on Deep (scanning of your registry), then Start. The scanner may take a few minutes (it took 93 seconds on my old p3 700, Windows 2000 system)
3- Once completed, click on Fix on the bottom right of the Window.
4- Your are then prompted for a name for your backup file. (I used Reg_fix) and Ok.
5- Click on Close and reboot your system, that's it.
Note - any changes to the registry are potentially dangerous (like any major surgery). This program has been tested and is used in the industry with excellent results but there are never any guarantees. Always backup your data.
