Information for new users to Elluminate
Go to the website http://www.elluminate.com/
Before using Elluminate you should go through and check your computer to make sure that your software meets all requirements for the program to work correctly.
Click on the “Support” button on the left menu.

For first time users there is a number of steps to check your computer. Step 1 is Java software check. You may notice a dialogue box that needs to be “Run”.

Click on Run to complete the process.
Step 2 is to “Complete your setup”. Click on Configuration room.

Note that browser security settings may be blocked, so you will have to right click on the bar to download files for Elluminate to proceed.
You will note files for Java and Elluminate 9.7 being loaded and then you will be prompted to answer the following questions.

Click on “I agree”

Select the “Connection speed” if you do not have Cable or DSL there are other options to select.
You will now be part of the Configuration room. Follow the instructions to test your Audio and Connection speed.

Close this session when done. You are now ready to begin using Elluminate.
Supported Java Clients
Windows: Sun Java 1.5.0_17 or un Java 1.6.0_12 and greater is recommended.
Mac: Apple Java 1.5.0_16 (J2SE - 32 bit), Apple Java 1.6.0_07 (J2SE6 - 64 bit) Special considerations exist for particular Mac configurations. Visit http://support.elluminate.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=2653&task=knowledge&questionID=1100 to learn current details.
Supported Operating Systems
The following operating systems and their associated Java clients are supported by Elluminate:
Windows - XP (32 bit) , Vista (32 bit) ,Vista (64 bit) , Windows 7 (32 bit) , Windows 7 (64 bit)
Mac - OS X 10.5 (32 bit with 32 bit JVM), OS X 10.6 (64 bit with 32 bit JVM), OS X 10.6 (64 bit with 64 bit JVM)
Elluminate runs in a wide variety of browsers, but Elluminate technical support will only help with the following:
