Student Outcomes Reporting System (SORS)

The following summary reports are from the Student Outcomes Reporting System (SORS) , a decision-support tool that contains ten years of data from the BC College and Institute Student Outcomes Survey project. The tool contains institution-specific data, as well as provincial summary data, and is updated every year. While the Student Outcomes Survey has changed over the last ten years, every effort has been made to ensure that data are reported consistently and that indicators are calculated identically over time. SORS is currently under the auspices of the Ministry of Advanced Education (AVED) and the Outcomes Working Group (OWG) in conjunction with BC Stats.

The BC College and Institute Student Outcomes project collects and distributes information about former students' levels of satisfaction with their educational experiences and their subsequent career and education outcomes. Former students are surveyed approximately 9-15 months after they complete all, or a significant portion, of their program. Information is available from 1995 on, and aggregate and trend-line reports are available upon request.
