In the case of an emergency evacuation of any sort, all building occupants are required to meet outside at the Assembly Area that is closest to the exit they used. These are intended to be a safe muster area. If the situation deems a particular area unsafe, this will be communicated to you by a fire warden or other authorized person.
The TRU Campus has 23 different assembly areas. The following is a map of the various campus vicinities and the Assembly Area numbers that are closest to the buildings' exits. Please have a look around outside the exits that are closest to your work area and become familiar with the Assembly Area you should be meeting at during an evacuation.
